The Studio Theatre is a black box theatre that opened in 2016. The identity had to mirror the identity of The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center, its sister theatre. The Studio Theatre is now going on their seventh season and for each season I have created art for 4-6 productions. Each production has its own unique marketing campaign including posters, program and digital marketing. I’ve also had the pleasure of directing 1-3 photoshoots per production.
The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center is a 1,000 seat theater spotlighting a variety of artistic disciplines ranging from concerts and comedians to dance, musicals and operas. When this account came my way all it had was a logo. From there I created templates for print advertisements and collateral marketing materials.
Lazy Mac’s Taco Shack is a Mexican restaurant, ala Chipotle, that’s located inside the lobby of a movie theater. Our team was tasked with branding the restaurant from the ground up. Working together with the Account Manager, we used the location of the restaurant to bring a fun side to the marketing, using a play on popular movie quotes.
